Alkaline Trio, one of my all-time favorite bands is playing at Alex's Bar, one of my all-time favorite bars in Long Beach this Saturday. Even though I have a race in Monterey this Sunday, I seriously considered buying tickets for the show and driving up north after. Which would put me in Monterey and at the start line just in time for the gun.

Well, tickets sold out in less than a minute. Next best thing: See them on Sunday in San Luis Obispo on my way home!

I'm giving myself a few hours to try to talk myself out of this, but right now, I'm seeing Alkaline Trio.
